Grabado en estudio Svangrummet Nykoping, limitada 100 copias. Re-publicado en un 7 "por Iron Fist Productions in 1998. " Era un poco una cosa que lo dejamos hacer más o menos porque él había tenido tanto mala suerte en la su negocio " , el guitarrista Erik comenta en una entrevista para Voices From the Darkside.

Una de las primeras bandas Underground death/thrash metal de la escena sueca Merciless son también la primera banda en firmar por el sello underground record label Deathlike Silence propiedad de Euronymous de Mayhem (Nor) la fama llego rapidamente con su primer LP ''The Awakening'' .

La banda participó en 1996 en el tributo Slatanic Slaughter I a Slayer (US) , interpretando el tema "Crionics".

Formado bajo el nombre de Paradox, que llegó a conocerse como HEXX alrededor de 1983. Como una banda de Speed/Thrash metal de la Bay Area, HEXX released un demo y dos Full Lengths , "No Escape" y "Under The Spell". Después de que el vocalista Dan Bryant dejara la banda, salieron del sonido clásico de power/thrash Metal y se convirtieron en una banda de Death/Thrash Metal con su nuevo vocalista, Clint Bower. La historia de MEKONG DELTA fue uno de los secretos mejor guardados del Underground europeo. A finales de 1985 un grupo de música provenientes de otras bandas, deciden formar una banda para la cual eligen el nombre de ZARDOZ, aunque pronto lo desechan y lo cambian por el de MEKONG DELTA (que es el nombre de la ribera de un río en Vietnam). Todo el proyecto comenzó por Ralf Hubert, técnico de sonido de WARLOCK, STEELER y LIVING DEATH y dueño del sello Aaarrg Records. Las primeras demos se graban con la siguiente formación: Jochen Schröder (ex-RAGE) a la guitarra, Peavy Wagner (RAGE) al bajo, Jörg Michael (ex-RAGE y PAGANINI) a la batería y Wolfgang Borgmann como vocalista. Jochen no pegaba en la formación y pronto es sustituído por los dos guitarras de LIVING DEATH, Reiner Kelch y Frank Fricke. Cuando Peavy abandona el proyecto, Ralph Hubert se encarga del bajo (en los discos se le conoce como Björn Eklund y bajo este nombre él contesta todas las entrevistas telefónicas de MEKONG DELTA). Al poco cambia la formación completa del grupo que queda asi: Björn Eklund (Ralph Hubert) al bajo y guitarra acústica, Gordon Perkins (Jörg Michael) en la batería, Rolf Stein (Frank Fricke) guitarra y voces, Vincent St. Johns (Reiner Kelch) guitarra y voces y Keil (Wolfgang Borgmann) a la voz. Estos 5 músicos graban el disco debut “Mekong Delta”, producido por el propio Ralph.
